SHR DIODO - Super Hair Removal

Super Hair Removal (SHR) is an advanced method for hair reduction. Unlike traditional laser treatments, SHR uses rapid, overlapping pulses of light to gently heat hair follicles. This kinder approach means less discomfort and makes it suitable for a variety of skin types and tones. The heat works its magic by damaging the hair follicle, which helps slow down or even stop future hair growth.

Why Choose SHR?

  • Gentle and Less Painful: The gradual heating technique makes it more comfortable than traditional laser options.

  • Great for All Skin Types: SHR is effective on a wide range of skin tones, even those with a tan!

  • Faster Treatment Sessions: Thanks to the rapid pulses, your sessions will be quicker.

  • Effective Hair Reduction: Many find that SHR gives better long-term results than other IPL methods.

  • Minimal Downtime: Most clients can jump right back into their regular activities after treatment.

How Many Sessions Do You Need?

We usually recommend a series of about 6 to 9 sessions, spaced roughly 4 to 6 weeks apart. That said, everyone’s different, and the number of sessions you need can vary based on a few important factors:

  • Hair Color and Thickness: Darker, thicker hair typically requires fewer sessions than lighter, finer hair.

  • Skin Tone: Lighter skin tones often respond better than darker ones.

  • Hormonal Influences: Hormonal changes can affect hair growth, and you might need a few extra treatments.

  • Your Unique Hair Growth Cycle: Hair follicles grow in cycles, so multiple sessions are important to target follicles at different stages for the best results.

Important Note: While SHR does a fantastic job at reducing hair growth, it’s not a permanent solution. Some regrowth is normal, and maintenance treatments are usually recommended to help keep those results looking great!

You should avoid this treatment it if you have any of the following:

  • Pregnancy

  • Active skin infections or inflammation (like herpes, eczema, psoriasis, or active acne)

  • Recent tanning or sunburn

  • Keloid scars

  • Using photosensitizing medications or supplements (be sure to check with your doctor)

  • A history of skin cancer or precancerous lesions

  • Pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices

  • Blood clotting disorders

  • Autoimmune diseases
