Who we are
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
What is it?
PRP is a form of cosmetic injectable treatment that uses the client's own platelet rich plasma. The plasma component contains stem cells and growth rich platelets and when injected back into the skin, it accelerates the body's natural production of collagen and elastin to provide overall skin rejuvenation.
How is done?
This is a completely natural treatment, as we use the client's own blood.
Our nurse will prepare the stem cell injection by drawing a small amount of blood (around 5cc) and then isolating and concentrating the platelet-rich plasma and growth factors by spinning the liquid in a centrifuge. Once the growth factors are extracted, and the PRP solution prepared, it can be applied or injected directly onto the damaged tissue and mixed with your remaining blood

1-3 skin treatments a year are recommended for skin improvement, depending on the client's starting point. The intervals are 12 weeks between treatments.

After treatment, you will be red and slightly swollen. Redness usually disappears during the first 12 hours, swelling after approx. 24 hours. Bruises can occur, these disappear within 7 to 14 days.
Immediately after treatment, you should avoid makeup, alcohol, sauna, exercise, and swimming.
The skin processes begin to occur about 48 hours after treatment, while the first effects appear after about 2 weeks. Final results can be seen after 4-6 weeks.
