Aquagold

What is it?

  AquaGold is a facial treatment consisting of Mesotherapy, filler and botox.

 

 

 

How is done?

 

  The mixture is swallowed in the skin via 12 micronized gold-plated needles.

 

 

 

Who is it recommended for?

 

  The treatment has a good effect on pores and fine lines, while adding moisture to the skin, improving the elasticity and giving the skin a beautiful glow. This combination treatment reduces pores, reduces sebum production and prevents acne. Aquagold mats also helps the ones that struggle with glossiness and / or facial sweating.

How does it look in the end?

  A sunburn-like effect immediately post-treatment is normal. The treated area may appear a bit red, but will resolve in 1-2 hours. The skin may feel tight, dry, swollen and sensitive to the touch. Do not wash your face for the first 6 hours

 

 

 

How long does it last?

 

  Results are seen within 3-7 days after treatment and typically last approximately 3-4 months (depending on your lifestyle but also your skin quality). Ideal as event skin prep. procedure can be done as often as every 1-3 months, doing several treatments throughout the year will continue to improve long term skin quality.

 

Aftercare Instructions?

 

  It is recommended that makeup not be applied for six hours after the procedure. Do not wash your face for the first six hours after Aquagold Fine Touch treatment. Wash the treated area gently with a gentle cleanser and apply your routine skin moisturizer after. You may return to your daily skin care regimen the next day.

  Sleep on your back with your head elevated slightly to reduce swelling. A sunburn-like effect is normal for one day. The treated area may appear pink a bit red, but will resolve in one to two hours. The skin may feel tight, dry, swollen and sensitive to the touch.

  Sun exposure must be avoided for at least 24 hours after your treatment (preferably one to two weeks). If you know you will get incidental sun exposure – i.e. driving to and from work, walking from your car to the house, etc. – we recommend physical avoidance of the sun in all treated areas, a protective hat and a full spectrum sunblock of SPF 40 or higher.

  Do not use exfoliating medications, chemicals or products on the treated areas for at least three weeks. No exercise that causes sweating and no jacuzzi, sauna or steam baths if any skin irritation exists.

 

 

 

Contraindications?

 

  No area to be treated should receive any type of chemical peel for two weeks prior to or after treatment. Waxing and/or use of chemical depilatories must be avoided for one week prior to and after AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch treatment. Shaving is allowed immediately before treatment and 48–72 hours after treatment, as long as there is no skin irritation.

Topical prescriptions including but not limited to Retin-a, renova and tazorac must not be used for three days prior to treatment. Avoid abrasive scrubs or other exfoliating products three days prior to treatment

 

 

 

Side effects?

 

  The treatment should be relatively painless. If you have extremely sensitive skin, you may experience a burning or stinging sensation - but this is not very painful.

 

 

    

Refill/Touch Up?                    

 

  To obtain the better results you should do this treatment again after 4 months

 

 

 

What to expect during and after your session? ​

 

  For mild skin imperfections such as fine lines and acne scars, AquaGold Fine Touch delivers a smaller amount of active ingredients to the area using very fine needles made of gold-plated stainless steel. This provides natural-looking rejuvenation for minor skin imperfections and the early signs of aging while protecting against additional skin irritation. AquaGold delivers the treatment using consistent depth over a large surface area that a syringe cannot provide
